What information do you collect about me?
When you book an apartment via our website, we need to collect information about you in order to process the booking and provide you with the service you expect. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address and your credit card details. All such information is held on secure servers. Falcons Nest Service Apartments complies fully with all applicable Data Protection and consumer legislation, and will treat all your personal information as confidential.
What do you do with my personal information?
We only use your personal information in order to respond to any requests, enquiries and comments you make, to help us deliver the highest possible level of customer service, and to fulfill the bookings you make through our website.
Unless we have your express consent we will only disclose your personal data to third parties if it is required for the purpose of completing your booking. To complete your booking, we must pass on your details to the reservations department of the particular apartments you have selected. We do this by fax, which is an extremely secure method of transferring information.
Do you retain my credit card information?
No. Once the booking is made using our reservations system, and the confirmation fax has been sent to the reservations department of the apartment that you have chosen your credit card details are deleted from our system. We retain all the other details that you provided us with so that we have a record of your booking. We feel that this is necessary so that, for example, amendments and cancellations can be made to your booking.
Do you sell my information to third parties?
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information
to third parties for mailing or marketing purposes.
How does the website remember my details?
Our website will remember your details if you book via the secure booking form and you tick the 'remember my details' tick box. By ticking this box, you are consenting to our website leaving a cookie on your computer. A cookie is basically a tiny file that contains the information you entered into the booking form (except for your credit/debit card details - that data is never stored in a cookie). The advantage of this is that it will save you time the next time you use our booking form, because next time you enter the page you will find that most of the form is pre-filled with your details, such as your name, address and email address (but not your credit/debit card details). Session Cookies
A session cookie is stored in the temporary memory of
your computer in three instances;
- Whenever you search for an apartment.
- Whenever you enter an apartment webpage. A session cookie is used to remember which apartments you have looked at so you can easily access those pages again using the 'recently viewed list of pages' feature rather than having to browse for them.
- When you go through the process of making an online booking request, i.e. when you fill out the request form and click the continue button, the session cookie binds the information you provide to us via that page to the information you provide in the next page.
Because of our use of session cookies, we can deliver a faster and more accurate website experience. For example, when you carry out an apartment search online a large amount of data is processed by our systems and transferred through the search results page. The session cookie means that as you carry on browsing, the website does not need to re-process all that search information each time you enter a new page. This ultimately means that pages load quicker, and the content of those pages is personalized to you. After two hours of inactivity, or when you close your web browser, session cookies are erased - they are not permanent and do not collect any information from your computer.

Some of your details may be used by us to present you with an informative monthly email newsletter. Also, some further details about you may be gathered as a result of the way you interact with the newsletter.
Our email newsletter contains useful information on what's happening in the areas in which apartments are located, exclusive travel and related tips, special offers for accommodation, recommendations, and much more. Here are the relevant points of our privacy policy that apply to our email newsletters:
- When making a booking with Falcons Nest Service Apartments, if you select the tick box on the booking request form that relates to receiving communications from us, you have consented to receive from us by email our newsletter.
- You may opt out of receiving the monthly newsletter at any time.
- You may update and amend your email address at any time.
- We will track most hyperlinks you may click from our newsletter. This is to enable us to better understand your interests and requirements, so that we can make subsequent newsletter communications more personalized and tailored to you.
- We will track certain other pages you visit after clicking on a newsletter hyperlink by the use of a tracker image. This information is used to enable us to better understand your personal interests and requirements, and also to help us understand the preferences of our customers in general.
